We were looking for somewhere new to go for breakfast near north Ocean City and I saw the 5 stars on Yelp. So we tried it. And we are glad we did! Quick review: Orange Juice: fresh squeezed and some of the best we've ever had. Also, made for an excellent Orange Crush (a favorite brunch cocktail of mine - if only they had the crushed ice!) Banana Bread French Toast: everyone was raving about it - my Grandmother got it and agreed it was super good! Scrapple: cut thin and cooked crispy - excellent! Biscuits: GREAT flavor! Even better with the homemade honey butter! The only critique (what Yelp is for! hah) is that they are overly flaky and fall apart easily - you mostly need to eat them with a fork. Overall, this restaurant is very cute with excellent food! I will definitely go back to try lunch and/or dinner!

This is the 3rd time I've come here and they never have anything. They told Me the wait is 30-60 minutes every time and I always come way before it gets busy. They never have any banana bread chocolate chip the consistency of the cups are different sizes and same price. If I'm gonna wait for an hour I should at least be let know beforehand that their out of everything.

This place certainly deserves the five stars it has earned on Yelp! We walked in, and to make sure we didn't have to wait too long, they asked if we minded splitting up our party of 8 into two tables. We thought this was great so we could beat traffic home. If we would have waited, they had plenty of fresh coffee and water outside to tide people over before breakfast. Our server, Katina, was incredibly accommodating and kind. The juice from the juice bar was delicious! Our table ordered biscuits and gravy, the down south bowl, the egg platter, and an egg sandwich. The biscuits were amazing - the gravy was tasty - not to salty or overbearing. The perfect amount to cover the biscuits without making them soggy. The bowl had fresh veggies and was devoured quickly! The egg platter came with delicious and perfectly seasoned potatoes. Even though the egg sandwich came out runny, the staff was happy to remake it quickly. It is a clean, quaintly decorated place, with many cute little touches - like mugs with flowers spelling out the word cheers. The bathrooms were clean. Overall, the blue hues made it a very serene place to eat, even though it was bustling. It was also nice to hear the staff explaining the wait was needed so they would not overwhelm their kitchen and put a wrench in service. It was not as if tables sat empty, they just used good timing to keep everything running smoothly. Overall, an incredible experience and we will be happy to return in the future!

This was easily the best meal I had while staying in the fenwick/ocean city area - and it was just breakfast! There was about a 15 minute wait which we didn't mind at all, especially since they had coffee and lemon water outside for you to help yourself to. The restaurant was lovely and bright with lots of nautical decor. Service was fast and friendly. We had a round of bloody marys which came rimmed with old bay and some adult iced coffees made with rumchatta - all phenomenal. I had a great breakfast bowl full of coconut rice, pico, sausage, and two over easy eggs. They also had a bowl which was on the healthier side made with quinoa spinach tomatoes avocado and egg white which was a huge hit. Nothing here would be a miss. Everything is super fresh and thoughtfully put together. They have certainly earned their 5 star rating here - I only wish I wasn't 3 hours away or I'd be back regularly.

Nice find in Fenwick. Came here for lunch and had crabby deviled eggs and grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich. Everything tastes fresh and was very pleased with our lunches. The chicken Caesar salad was plentiful and my dining companion enjoyed her meal. The crab cake Sammy that my fiancé had was also very good. Our waitress was nice, friendly, and we really enjoyed our lunch. Pleasant decor too. Next time, will have to stop by here for dinner and hopefully raise it to 5 stars!

Great brunch!!. A little pricey The banana bread and French toast was ridiculously good.
(4)Jason H.
This place is a gem in Fenwick Island. Much more hipster and gourmet than your typical beach breakfast. The food is made from scratch and uses many locally sourced and sustainable products. The Cali Bowl and Egg Sandwich on sourdough was great. We drank fresh squeezed OJ and apple lemonade. The banana bread was a delicious side. The interior is clean and inviting. I want some of that artwork for my own house! The service is very efficient and friendly. They also serve dinner and I can't wait to go back soon. Watermelon slices on the house when we paid our bill.
(5)Karen B.
What a lovely oasis in Fenwick! Serious food and welcoming service. The food and drinks are unparalleled. We had breakfast that was memorable. Sausage gravy and biscuits are home made... Sausage. The California bowl was really different... Quinoa, spinach, avocado, grape tomatoes and egg whites. The banana bread french toast was really good. The drinks... Really good. You can taste the champagne in the mimosas and the bloody Mary's are spicy with fresh horseradish in a homemade mix. Prices for breakfast are competitive especially for the homemade touch. Carly and Scott are Local owners and nice people. Worth the drive from OC, MD.
(5)Fran A.
My husband and I go whenever we can and are never disappointed at One Coastal. Food is fresh, different and delicious. Service is equally as good. The only thing I wish they would change is the decor. Love the open kitchen concept but wish they would add a bit more color and coastal ambiance to the interior. Worth traveling for.

Visited last weekend for brunch. The pace is super cute. Decoration, staff, food, drinks - all on point. There was so much I wanted to try. My only option is to go back, over and over. I highly recommend the Bloody Mary. It was fantastic!
(5)Jennifer L.
Went here for breakfast under recommendation by friends. It was so great we went back to try dinner the next day. Both meals we're exceptional. The drinks were even better. Everything tasted like it was the freshest thing we have ever eaten. We have a place right by here so we will be going back a lot. Can't wait til next weekend!
(5)Michelle F.
Beat restaurant in the area. Delicious fresh fish, creative cocktails, amazing service. Great crowd.
(5)Benjamin W.
Went here on a Saturday morning for some breakfast. The place was packed, being a smaller location, so we took a seat at the bar. The bartender was attentive to us and took our orders promptly. I got the rice bowl which was fantastic and very warm, which was great. Our food came out shockingly fast and fresh from the kitchen. My wife liked her eggs, pancakes, and bacon as well. This place deserves the positive reviews!
(5)Alexis B.
The food, atmosphere and staff is just exceptional! I had all three meals here over the course of a weekend. Breakfast was outstanding!! I had the best pancakes, biscuits and potatoes I've ever had. Dinner was a close second. The ribeye was the perfect temperature and tasted great. The lobster guacamole is fantastic! But in addition to great fresh food, the atmosphere created by the owners and staff is really special. If you are ever in the area you really need to dine here.
(5)Michael H.
This place has the absolute best food, best owner, best atmosphere in Delmarva for it category. We've been here several time and the food is always changing and continually outstanding. Prices are reasonable as well!
(5)Cameron S.
Not enough can be said about the friendly, happy vibe that Carlie and the staff have created here. Looking for a fun brunch on a nice Sunday morning, so we stopped by one of our new favorites, One Costal. It's a classic brunch menu with some original twists. Looking over all three menus I turned to my wife and said, "I would literally eat ever single thing on this menu." I had the 2,2,2 so I could get my pancakes, eggs and bacon in one order. My wife had a breakfast bowl that was unreal. Roasted tomatoes, eggs to order, pickled jalapeños, roasted potatoes and the best sausage I've ever had. Great drinks selection and coffee as well. Highly recommended.
(5)Kah B.
Very good food and our hostess was amazing .... First trip to OC, Maryland and it's definitely worth it... Will be back with the kids and in laws - orange juice freshly squeezed !!!!! Yup!!!! You read it right!!! And the coffee was pretty damn good too!!!! My cup wasn't even half way empty and they refilled it!!! Again service was great!!!! All 5 stars well deserved !!!
(5)Bradley M.
We were turned away because we did not have a reservation. It was a Thursday night at 6:30 and the place was no more than half full. Very disappointing. If the practice is to require a reservation, that should be listed on yelp as well as your website. 9/10/2015.
(1)Jimmy W.
Small place but great food decor and service. Water and coffee are served on the front porch while you wait for seating Very friendly staff
(5)Vinnie M.
One Coastal is a definite breakfast place for your family. I taste all of my families meals and can i just say there was not one dish that was not good. I recommend the two two two which is two pancakes teo pieces of your favorite breakfast meat and two eggs of your style. This place is the best breakfast place and i will definitely be back for more pancakes which is the best product at that joint. I would definitely come here with your family or with somebody with your self and they have lunch and drinks for you drinkers. Bottom line its the best of the best breakfast place and i would definitely go there again and again and again.
(4)Courtney B.
Fabulous breakfast! I had a hard time choosing one entree, everything looked amazing! Looking at the lunch and dinner menus made me want to stay all day. I had the down south bowl (highly recommend), it had chorizo, baby tomatoes, avocado made it perfect comfort food to start the day with! The biscuits and gravy were also amazing, best I have had in a long time. Hot food made to order, quick service, in a great atmosphere!
(5)Joe C.
Great shrimp and grits. Great cocktails nice atmosphere. Very casual. Small dining room
(5)Matt T.
Really great atmosphere and friendly staff. Breakfast was reasonably priced and very tasty!
(5)Kim C.
Had breakfast here during a girls' trip to OC. It was outstanding. Cozy, cute, rustic, flowers-in-mason jars type atmosphere and delicious, extremely fresh food, and excellent, charming service. I had the coconut rice with over easy eggs, pico, avocado, bacon & cilantro. It was literally the perfect breakfast. Everything was extremely fresh and tasty and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The from-scratch, fresh squeezed bloody Mary was probably one of the best I ever had. They had a variety of fresh squeezed juices and breakfast cocktails that sounded amazing as well. Might need to go back just for the iced coffee with Rumchata. Even though we were there for breakfast, it looks as though they have an equally yummy lunch/dinner menu and their beer list was very enticing. Would love to go back sometime. Very, very nice find.
(5)Steven S.
The food is fantastic and the prices are reasonable. But above that, the service was exceptional. We called to see what the wait for two would be and the hostess said she could fit us right in. Five minutes later, we walked in and water was already waiting for us at the table. Our waitress engaged with us and never left us waiting for anything. Everyone was pleasant and greeted us with a smile. I highly recommend the biscuit, especially smothered in sausage gravy. We will undoubtedly be back.
(5)Mona B.
Scrumptious wholesome food. Zen-like, spa-like foodie experience in a land of kitsch. Had the best bloody-mary in the world which was spiced to perfection. The kitchen is out in the open, nice and airy for everyone to see. I have found my happy place at the sea!
(5)Jean K.
This place is fantastic! We had a lovely breakfast here last weekend. The service was friendly, and food fresh and delicious, and we especially appreciated being able to find healthy options - a rarity in a vacation area. Thank YOU!!!
(5)Sof G.
Tried this place for breakfast this morning and it was delicious! Their biscuits with honey butter are amazing.
(5)Jess B.
Best food..even better owners!!! Love love love this place! So unique, fresh and local food. GREAT breakfast wrap..get with the avacado!!!
(5)Dawna R.
Outstanding breakfast. If you go, make sure you get a biscuit with your breakfast. They are delicious without being heavy. The potatoes had a kick that was unexpected, but welcome. The vibe was between hipster and hippy and surfer, with overall welcoming staff. I had biscuits and gravy, which can be heavy many places, but was wonderful here. As I mentioned, the biscuits are wonderful, but the gravy had a creamy sweetness that was wonderful with the spicy potatoes and the over easy eggs. All were great tastwd separately, but fantastic when put together in one bite. My spouse had the classic delmarva, eggs, scrapple, potatoes, and a biscuit topped with cinnamon augar butter. Also delicious. Our 4 yr old gobbled down the small sammy, and egg, cheese, and sausage sandwich with extra cheese. They share a parking lot with a bike shop and a surf shop, so it's easy to overlook, but worth going too. At the end of the meal our son asked to go back for breakfast tomorrow, which we plan to do.
(4)John R.
Bloody Mary made from scratch in the juicer! Need I say more? Our server Kate was amazing (as well as smoking hot), and brunch was awesome. I got the breakfast coconut rice bowl with bacon. Eggs were cooked perfectly, and the bacon was phenomenal. I added avocado and homemade hot sauce that was delicious. They have a lot of local beers on tap, and a decent selection of booze. I look forward to coming back again to have either lunch or dinner.
(5)Andrea T.
It is hard to find a good place to eat in the off-season! One of our favorites is closed in the off-season so I found this gem on yelp!My mom had the two two two? Two pancakes two eggs and two pieces of bacon? I think? She said everything was delicious and she was very interested in the brussels sprouts getting ready for dinner! I had the sausage gravy over a biscuit and it was very good. Everyone, our waiter, the owner was so friendly and lovely. I would definitely return! Oh and you will drive right past! It's next to the Ruddi's golf shop in the shopping center next to kohr/candy kitchen
(4)Kip B.
The food was very fresh and tasty, but the proportion was rather on the skimpy side... Banana bread was very good but a little pricey at $3 for a 1/4"-1/2" slice, would I go back yes but I would have to maybe get a second order of food to be full that's why I rated at four stars
(4)Jeff P.
Breakfast was amazing service was top notch !!! Will return when we are in the area. Like the open kitchen concept
(5)Ken K.
Small place, so pick your times when you go. Did a breakfast with the family on an OC trip and barely made getting a table. We are glad we did. The decor was cute with country accents and the service was really quite good. Food was also very good. The banana bread french toast should be classified as a dessert - no joke. That thing is excellent but when you combined the sweetness of the bread with the coating and syrup, I think it'd be interesting to see the Nutritional Facts label on it, but you're likely on vacation considering if you should go there if you're reading this. So order it and enjoy! My big con was that there was no kids menu options presented and when asked, none were suggested other than the aforementioned "dessert" so we had to improvise.
(4)Cady K.
Best dinner in Ocean City! The food is as local and sustainable as possible. Everything is super fresh and absolutely delicious. I had the halibut special, which was the BEST fish I've had. It was cooked perfectly and had a delicious fresh mango salsa. All of the sides are great, too! We even had to get dessert. The coconut cakes was light and satisfying, and probably one of the most delicious cakes I've ever had. On my last trip to OC we tried it for breakfast. Also incredibly delicious! I wish they offered breakfast more often than weekends. It's super hard to get in, so make reservations!
(5)T W.
Food here was awesome, they went out the way to make my husband crab eggs which tasted great. Unfortunately they ran out of banana bread but they made us banana pancakes which were so good... would definitely recommend, great food great service.
(5)Domenick C.
Awesome! The fried green tomatoes with crab were amazing! The risotto was on point. Great scallops.
(5)Jay A.
Fresh juices made to order, locally grown Fruits and veggies for the paninis. Great service and a quaint local. Fresh basil on the grilled chicken panini and the CBM with avocado was incredible with their homemade honey mustard with a kick! Slow down as you drive by or you'll miss it. The directions are wrong on yelp.
(5)Kimberly F.
Can't wait to go to lunch and dinner ! Be lunch was rocking .... Could only imagine how good the rest of the menu is ! So excited to have a juice bar in town !
(5)Jennifer K.
One Coastal is a wonderful addition to Fenwick Island. The decor is perfect. The service is super friendly. And the food and drinks are excellent. This is my kinda place. Today I had the lox flatbread and the green juice of the day. Excited to hang out in this great atmosphere again and try more of the menu. Definitely having the champagne with a scoop of homemade orange sherbet next time!
(5)Chuck R.
Went here for breakfast and was very happy with the meal! Everything is homemade, the decor very comfortable and the staff very personable! We found this place when we first got here and have waited all week just to try their breakfast, they have certain days/hours for breakfast so be sure to check their hours. Breakfast was very good, can not wait to come back and try their dinner
(5)Liz Y.
This place lived up to all of the comments. Breakfast was fantastic and Edgar (our server) is awesome. The Cali Bowl, although an odd breakfast by most people's standards, was outstanding. Highly recommend. We'll be back for dinner.
(5)Chris G.
the fresh pressed fruit juices are amazing! Depends on the fruit of the day.....today lemons and apples!!! DELICIOUS! The banana bread French toast is UNREAL!
(5)Alexus V.
First of all, can I just say that these people are jerks for opening up my eyes to the deliciousness of a french toast made with banana bread? Seriously though, everything here was absolutely delicious. I ordered the banana bread french toast, potatoes, fresh o.j., coffee and a parfait to share with my daughter. It was all great. The french toast was thick and rich and the parfait was like a grown up/mature parfait - the flavor was great and it was so fresh and a very big portion. The coffee was delightful and I further delighted in the dog shaped cream holder. I actually ordered one when I got home! The decor and ambiance are wonderfully simple and modern. It has that great on-the-ocean feel and a very welcoming atmosphere with great service. The prices are pretty good and their fresh oj mimosas were the bomb! I can't wait to go to OC again so I can stop in here on the way!
(5)Leoncio T.
We went here for breakfast. The menu was very short with lots of unhealthy options. For example, they have a banana bread french toast. This is basically cake dipped in egg, fried, and served with whipped cream, butter, and syrup. It was way too sweet and NOT a real breakfast. Then they had several rice bowls which I have read in other reviews are very good. But they are all made with white rice and didn't sound appealing to me. So I had a basic egg wrap. They only had one option for the wrap: white flour. It was good. Nothing special, just good. On a positive note, they had fresh squeezed OJ....which they served in a 6 oz cup....seriously. And that was the largest cup they had. That said, the food was fresh and well made. Someone did actually think about the recipes. The staff was nice and the food was served quickly. As for the decor, it was particularly cheap looking. The kitchen is open and ugly, the ceiling was a very ugly dollar store dropped ceiling, and the furniture was placed oddly. So all in all, I would not give this place a glowing review except to say that the food was well made and someone put some thought into it. I would not recommend this place, however, to the health conscious.
(3)Karen B.
Fabulous breakfast. I recommend the southern bowl. Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. Fast and friendly service. No Bloody Mary's before 9am though.
(5)Corrin W.
This place is great! The food is more then what you expect when you walk in. The place is unassuming but don't let that fool you. We got crab cakes and a fish of the day. It was happy hour too so we got done super fresh yummy crushes with our meals. WOW! The entrees were cooked expertly with very fresh ingredients. The crushes were fresh squeezed. We each had two! Service was excellent! All that for under $40 a person. Great deal fir great food!
(5)Lisa R.
Great food and customer service but today they ran out of everything. And hour wait to be told out of what I wanted doesn't go over very well.
(4)Irem C.
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Can't say enough good things about this quaint little place! Super friendly staff. Like your good friends are waiting on you! Food was awesome and great quality fresh ingredients. Best breakfast we have had in a long time! Delicious coffee and the bloody Mary's are a Must! The bacon... Nom nom nom!
(5)Raymond G.
I've been a fan of One Coastal since it opened and have been reluctant to write this review. I guess I was hoping that it would continue to fly under the radar and be the best kept secret in the Delmarva area. Too late for that...word of mouth travels quickly. The food is fresh and the menu has enough variety to satisfy everyone's appetite. But it's not just the food that has you coming back. Carlie and her staff provide hospitality that make you feel as if you were dining in their home. You must try the banana bread French Toast. WOW!
(5)Anthony R.
Fresh food!!! Everything is fresh. I had the banana bread French toast and it was excellent. My two friends loved the food too and the got biscuits with gravy and the 2,2,2.
(5)Lori S.
This is a must visit in Fenwick Island. On the North side of route 1 next to the bicycle show, One Coastal is small but boasts a lot of options, flavors and ambience. Farm to table type cuisine with some vegetarian options (which is tough to find at beach). We have only been for breakfast and then menu ranges from lox flatbread (which is exceptional) to a cali bowl with egg whites quinoa and avocado. Banana french toast is the favorite. Cold water outside if you are waiting for a table - but they will take reservations . Try the smoothies or special juice of the day when you can. Enjoy
(5)Jenny S.
Excellent place for brunch. Highly recommend the fig and blue cheese salad. Also had the crab cake Sammy, best crab cake sandwich I've had in Fenwick. They do not have a kids menu however they were very accommodating for our two kids and made a cheese pizza. Even that was good, seemed to be made from homemade naan. Very yummy meal! Order the Bloody Mary!
(5)Brooke H.
DELICIOUS! And unique. It's nice to finally have a fresh ingredient restaurant in Fenwick, and at the beach in general. Scott and Carlie are incredibly invested in their work and it shows. Great vibe, delicious food, great costumer service! Give it a try - you'll LOVE it!!
(5)Jeff M.
Have been eating there every weekend since I discovered it. Really enjoy the concept and place. Have to do something with front windows. A little to much "store front" feel. Please be careful of ur pricing owners. 30$ for 6 scallops is high even for the beach. Get in alignment with "like kind" ie Jules regarding price. Be there over the weekend
(5)Juli C.
Found this little gem because of other yelp reviews. I'm so excited I know about it now. It is amazing! Im actually mad about it because I have to wait until the next time I'm down at the beach to have breakfast food so good. Everything is freshly made including the bloody Mary's and the champagne cocktail for you other morning drinkers. I might have to take off work just to come back for one coastal. Can't wait!
(5)Rich S.
My girlfriend and I stopped by last night for dinner. I had previously been there for breakfast, which was great. So I was very eager to try out something their dinner menu! We both ended up getting the fish of the day meal which was grouper. The fish was fantastic! It was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Along with the pineapple Pico de gayo, this meal had wonderful flavors. The biggest surprise for me was the maple bacon brussles. My mouth is watering thinking about the next time I can get them! I could taste all the bacony goodness with hints of maple throughout each bite of the side dish. I will definitely go back again and I'm sure the girl will too. She was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal.
(5)terry s.
I wanted to find something other than the regular country breakfast places. I go to fenwick island twice a year, so I checked yelp. Found this hidden gem. They had pumpkin spice coffee which was delicious. Then I had eggs, bacon, potatoes with the biscuit. I have to admit that it was very delightful. I love the open kitchen and the service was friendly and great. I returned the next morning for coffee and had an apple crisp to go. The crisp was fresh and very good. This is a joy to come across in this area.
(5)Bonnie W.
Wonderful food and staff. Couldn't have had a better experience. Our new favorite restaurant at the beach. Everything was fresh and prepared perfectly. So many delicious specials. A joyful dinner by our party of three.
(5)Jennifer L.
We tried this place this morning for breakfast. The food and service were outstanding! This is a hidden little gem. If you aren't looking for it you'll miss it. I had the biscuits and gravy. Unlike any biscuits I've ever had but it was very tasty. My husband had the 2,2,2 and got chocolate chips added to his pancakes. My son had Greek yogurt a pancake and egg. They have a bar so my husband had a Bloody Mary. The coffee was a little weak for my taste but still drinkable! Overall I highly recommend One Coastal. We will probably return again before our trip ends!
(5)Karl B.
Great service, nicely prepared food. Had breakfast on the last day of our beach vacation. Will be back for lunch or dinner next year. Pancakes were home made, flavorful and used a coarse ground flour that sets them way above the chain store fare. It is a bit hard to find. Look for the golf shop on the ocean side.
(4)Julie B.
The atmosphere is very lovely. The food was unique & yummy, and the staff is very friendly. Can't wait to come back.
(5)Ricardo E.
This is our favorite place on the coast. We found it by chance and have been back every time we come to the beach! New owners have improved the place since we last came. We have 2 kids who eat well every time we come here. No they do not have a kids menu- but the food is good enough that the kids eat it. The owners, staff are all fantastic. A little gem of a place. We will always come back. Cheers
(5)Janice L.
Nice place to have brunch. The food is fantastic and the price is decent. I highly recommend the rice bowl & biscuit. The hostess and the waitress are so friendly. We will definitely be back.
(5)Tyrone J.
Everything on the menu is farm raised and captured local. The food is very fresh and delicious and so it hits the palate very every morsel.
(5)Andrew R.
My son and I stopped in here during the annual soccer weekend in Delaware. I checked out Yelp for a good spot near our hotel. This place lives up to the hype. When we got there, the place was full. The owner (I think) greeted us and let us know it would only be a couple of minutes. Sure enough, a table left and the owner (I think) bussed and wiped the table down. Man, that is personable personality at its best. I ordered the breakfast wrap, my son got the eggs, meat, potatoes and biscuit. My wrap was good, but the breakfast plate my son got was out of bounds. He started raving about the potatoes (outstanding) and the biscuit was made with some mystical secret batter. Oh, and I forgot to mention the orange juice, freshly squeezed. Totally a chill spot, you really feel like you are part of the family here. If you are looking for a heap of bland tasting calories and salty meat, keep on trucking down to the Dough Roller. If you want a fantastic meal with your friends, well, this is your place. BTW, bonus sentence, one of the other soccer families did what I did, checked Yelp and stopped in here. Their son, as well, raved about the potatoes. So there you have it, skip this place at your peril.
(5)Stephanie H.
Visited Sunday morning at 8:30 am and easily found a table. Came because of all the good reviews on Yelp! We weren't disappointed. Staff was genuinely courteous and there was a great atmosphere. Food was fresh and different! Not the standard fare you usually get at the beach. Hubby had the biscuits and gravy- lovely home made! I ordered the southern bowl and it wonderful! I had 2 eggs, fried potatoes, chorizo sausage, cheese, grilled tomatoes and pickled jalopenos. They have fresh squeezed juice daily and today it was a banana, apple and limeade- fabulous! We also got a side of the banana bread French toast and homemade donuts!!!! Wow! A must visit at the beach! Glad we found this local favorite!
(5)Brian G.
Delicious! Healthy! This is a very unique breakfast for a Coastal town. From the rustic decor to the healthy ingredients made from scratch. We'll definitely be back! The biscuits and fresh squeezed juices are a must.
(5)Dave T.
A great find. We had coffee, banana bread, pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Very good price considering we are at the beach!!! The pancakes and banana bread were excellent. You need to pay attention to their location They are easy to miss, but they are in the little plaza with the Bicycle shop.
(5)Alex J.
Checked out this new spot in Fenwick for dinner -- boyfriend and I both had the fresh catch which was rockfish. Beautiful piece of fish wonderfully prepared, with a nice roasted red pepper sauce. The slaw was tasty as well, but got somewhat watery on my plate. The strawberry and peaches shortcake dessert sounded delicious, but no room with the huge piece of fish! Will have to go back to try it!
(5)Alex A.
We gave this a try after searching for something close and yummy on yelp. Great decision! The menu offered a great variety of salads, seafood, chicken, steak, and pasta. I had a ton of questions about the ingredients in the food and our server was able to answer everything without a trip to the kitchen- which rarely happens. Super helpful! My husband and parents each ordered salads which came out beautifully. I went with a chicken BBQ dish- I'm from the south and thought it was amazing. My mom and husband both ordered a pasta with fresh veggies and a pesto sauce. I ate almost as much as theirs as mine- it was fantastic. My dad ordered the crab cakes and cleared his plate. The fresh squeezed drink mixers and the multiple good draft choices were also a hit at the table. While the food was great we were most impressed that the restaurant had only been open two weeks. Service was smooth and the staff knew their stuff- we would have never guessed they had just opened! We will be back on our next vacation!
(5)Kory W.
OMG. Don't tell anyone about how good this place is! We went with a group of 6 people, were seated promptly, and served promptly. Everyone here is polite, friendly and professional. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. Nothing about this place is less than exceptional. Phenomenal in fact! They even offer gluten free crab cakes for those with dietary restrictions. Everything is wonderful.

I was skeptical of the 5 stars with so many reviewers, but it was truly the best breakfast we've had in a long time. We called ahead since we have 3 kids- everything was set up when we arrived and everyone was incredibly welcoming. Every single thing we tried was spectacular. I had the breakfast rice bowl and literally ate every last thing on the plate. The banana French toast is out of this world. The carrot apple ginger juice was refreshing. Crab cakes were great. Can't say enough great things about this place- the owners clearly put a lot of love into everything they do and everyone who works seems to follow their lead.

Great place for breakfast or lunch! Our group ordered a little bit of both and everything we ordered was so fresh & tasty. There were many options for non-meat eaters too. I ordered the caprese quiche special which was excellent but I can't wait to return and try the caprese sandwich or homemade banana bread.

Spot on breakfast! Zero complaints. Awesome service with Kate and perfect food. A must in coastal Delaware.

Read the great reviews and we must have missed out. The 2-2-2 looked good when it came but unfortunately I got the breakfast wrap. For 10 bucks it was awful and was so small i could have downed it in about 6 bites. They even said they were about out of potatoes so they divided them up between four wraps. The owner should have discounted something? But really just a little egg, little cheese and almost no bacon and a side of pico. The presentation was awful as well since it was so small. Same for the good French toast but for ten bucks, just not worth it. We were all hungry when we left.

So delicious! Went here for breakfast and ordered the banana bread french toast and the 2/2/2 pancakes, sausage, and eggs. I don't know how they make their pancakes but they are SO delicious, and unlike any pancakes I've ever had before. The sausage just looked like regular sausage patties but they too seemed like something special. And the banana bread french toast was thick, flavorful, spiced deliciousness. I love finding restaurants that can give me an experience you just can't recreate at home. This is how eating out should be done. Coffee was great, service was attentive and friendly, and the restaurant has the cutest atmosphere and decor. I wish I could go back to dinner tonight!! Next time I hope to try the fig and goat cheese salad- it sounds so yummy!

Had a great dinner at One Coastal. The staff and owner are friendly and professional, and the food was outstanding! Between us we had a delicious carrot-apple-ginger soup (a special), extremely tasty and fresh salmon entree, excellent chicken quesadillas (with avocado added), a delicious salad and the best-ever Mojito. My first time there but I will definitely return next time I'm in the area.

I cannot say enough good things about One Coastal! It's our go-to spot at the beach and everything from the service, to the atmosphere, to the food is incredible. The owner, Carlie, is one of the most welcoming, bubbly, and hospitable people you will ever meet. I would highly recommend One Coastal for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner! In the morning, I love the shakes and breakfast sandwiches. My favorite lunch item is the caprese chicken panini (in summer) and the brie chicken panini (in the winter). I also love all of the salads and creative sides they have. For dinner, they always have delicious, fresh fish options! To top it all off, Carlie and crew always have different homemade desserts that are all delicious! The dress is casual and the friendly staff makes you feel right at home. You can get an unbelievable, affordable meal and personable experience every time and I LOVE this place!

During our vacation my girlfriend and I were looking for someplace for breakfast we stumbled upon this place; boy am I glad we did! I had the rice bowl with sausage, and now I have a new breakfast favorite! Best place for breakfast in the area!

Under new ownership since 7-2014. Carly and her staff are awesome. Orange Crush was as good as Harbourside! Blackened rockfish was on point! Small mom & pop place which will keep us coming back.

We happened in to One Coastal on the soft opening (new management effective last week). I'm glad we did as I expect it will be a tough table when word gets out. The delightful proprietor, Carlie Roberts, took care of us herself and obviously has great pride in quality of food and service. I had a blackened seared tuna steak, perfectly seasoned and prepared. Good selection of local craft beers. Went back for brunch on Sunday and were equally happy, Banana Bread French toast a creative new twist.

Group of 6 had dinner here on our last night of Labor Day weekend- everything was phenomenal! Small staff and the owner is in there making food in the open kitchen and visiting with tables. Very energetic and attentive. The decor is cute and simple. My table tried a little bit of everything on the dinner menu: wasabi-marinated T-Bones, crabcakes with siracha remoulade (YUMM!!!), blackened tuna, house pasta. We were all stealing bites off of one-another's plates and asking for extra remoulade (it was sooo good!). The atmosphere lives up to the earlier reviews. We were even given a slice of homemade banana cream pie to share once our checks came. I just wish we would have been able to go back for breakfast or lunch (I was also drooling over that portion of the menu). All in all a great find!

Terrific dinner. Great breakfast. Friendly efficient service. We liked dinner so much we came back for breakfast the next day. Blackened rockfish outstanding. Pasta dish great with fresh vegetables. We weren't sure if we were going to get dessert but then "homemade brownies, fresh whipped cream". It had home made vanilla ice cream too. Nice ending for a great meal. Bacon egg sandwich on a bagel, one on a biscuit and breakfast wrap were delivered fast and hot (did I mention delicious?). This is a good restaurant. They treated us like we were regulars!

I love this new place and couldn't be happier to have it in the neighborhood. Everything is yummy! Fresh squeezed juice in cocktails, the freshest ingredients at the beach and the cheerful staff have made this my go to lunch place. I literally eat here everyday and you should too. Be mindful of the hours though because they close down for changeover between lunch and dinner.

This place was great. Everything tasted fresh. The service was great also. Small place with a nice bar, buy totally family friendly. Rockfish, shrimp, apple butter BBQ chicken, coconut rice, gluten free donuts....all great tasting.

Very tasty breakfast. Catch it from 11-12 and you can eat breakfast or lunch. Banana bread French toast is pretty good.

Great trendy environment with a well-meshed and friendly staff. My girlfriend and I had breakfast. We both ordered the breakfast wrap both with bacon, she with avocado, I without. We were very impressed with freshness and overall flavor of every aspect of our meal. It came with a house-made pico which my girlfriend claims was to die for. The prices initially seemed a tad steep ($9 for a wrap), but at the completion of our meal we both agreed that it was well worth it. Great little restaurant tucked away in Fenwick. Will definitely go back and we're anxious to try the lunch and dinner selection!

This was a great find by my wife based on the wonderful reviews on Yelp. We were a little skeptical when we got a look at the place from the outside (don't be misled by the outside signage) but decided to go in anyway - and were not disappointed! The key word was fresh. Everything - the handmade chips and fruit salsa, the cucumber salad, my wife's Caesar salad, and my seared tuna with basmati rice and string beans - was fantastic. The food was fresh and flavorful and not overly done with sauces and spices. They have a nice varied beer selection, excellent and friendly service, and fair pricing... We will definitely return next trip!

The food is good. My girlfriend is a vegetarian, I am a carnivorous being. This place suited both of out palettes.

Breakfast here two consecutive days. Banana bread french toast was terrific with a great cup of coffee to accompany it. Day two was the Delmarva Special which was delmarvelous. Two perfectly over easy eggs, hearty bacon, tender seasoned potatoes, and a magnificent biscuit with sweet honey butter. Awesome start to the day. The new owner is killing it.

Great casual eatery with real food and a relaxed and friendly vibe. The biscuits are phenomenal.

while my Caesar salad, lobster appetizer, and rockfish dishes were tasty...they were not properly seasoned. My salad had almost no dressing, but what was there was excellent. This is a neat little place, so different than the typical beach restaurant, so I will be back for sure. Don't let the outside fool you.....go in and try it. The food is very fresh, local, and they have a few unique dishes. Great service, good portions.

Great food and service! My family and I went to One Coastal Family Restaurant and enjoyed it so much we went back for breakfast even though we were staying 1/2 hour away in Ocean City. We all had something different: Shrimp Wrapped Bacon, Chicken Skewers, Adult Grilled Cheese with Avocado, BLT, Kielbasa w/Kraut, Chesapeake Sandwich (crab/chicken salad). They don't have a kids menu but they will make whatever you want kids size and to order. There is a full bar there too you can sit at for drinks.

Fantastic! Everything we ordered was perfect. Great new restaurant with fresh, local plates. Great salads. Excellent chips and salsa. We got the chicken quesadillas, excellent. Limited menu, but its all GREAT! Best service around, very friendly place. We'll go again!

A great find. Breakfast was awesome, service was perfect, and the place has a great feel. Definitely try the rice bowl but you will not be disappointed with anything you order.

Happy to welcome this solid newcomer to the neighborhood! Younger and hipper vibe than with previous owners! Walked in around 7:45 last night with party of 7. We were seated right away but moments later the place filled up and every seat was taken. They handled the onslaught extremely well! Menu is limited and a bit more expensive than other better known local spots, hence my 4 stars, but all meals were very tasty and the staff is so friendly! Rockfish, salmon, pasta entrees are very nice as described by other reviews. Cocktails were quickly concocted exactly as we requested. I would love to see them expand the dinner menu a bit when they are ready. I bet they could do a few more apps, a great burger and a soup of the day! Doesn't every restaurant need those on the menu? Want everyone to know I spotted my first vitamix in a restaurant kitchen in Fenwick here! I understand they make custom veggie and fruit smoothies during the day!! That's great news for healthy eaters in our town! We will absolutely be back! Great job last night handling so much activity!

This place was fantastic. What a gem. We were looking for good, affordable food, in a location that wouldn't be too upscale for our kids. I'm so sick of chain restaurant food where 90% of the menu is fried, and the only alternative is grilled chicken with rice and broccoli. We have three small children and the waitress was kind and attentive, and my picky eater tore through his dinner of quesadillas and green beans. We loved this place so much that we went back for breakfast a few days later, and that was exceptional as well. (The banana bread french toast was heavenly!)

Tucked away next to the bike shop, this place is a gem!! Friendly service, casual/fun atmosphere (great tunes in the background). Food was amazing - fresh ingredients, perfectly prepared. The kitchen area is totally open, so you get to actually see who is preparing your food, and how clean the kitchen is, which I thoroughly appreciate. Entry can be a bit confusing since there is no hostess area, but it's seat yourself (for lunch anyway). I will definitely be back and cannot wait to try breakfast and dinner as well. A+

Excellent crab-cakes. Had a wonderful mesclun salad with goat cheese, strawberries, blueberries, and candied nuts

Great quality food, great prices and great service! We enjoyed the new One Coastal and think the new owners are on to something great. They definitely have done their research on serving great food.

Found this place via yelp and urbanspoon. As other reviewers state, don't let the facade fool you. It's an unassuming place on the exterior and the interior is very different. The kitchen is right there, out in the open. Food is FRESH and delicious. Orange and grapefruit crushes are great. Really, really great food, great service, great place. Will be returning tomorrow morning for breakfast.
